Presence, in the middle of real life. Not on a mountaintop. Right here.
The Mindful Mag started from a simple observation: most of what gets called mindfulness is either too vague to use or too polished to trust.
We wanted something in between. Writing that takes the inner life seriously without taking itself too seriously. Practices you can actually do on a Tuesday. Ideas drawn from contemplative traditions, modern science and plain lived experience, offered with curiosity rather than certainty.
That awareness is the beginning of almost every meaningful change. That the breath is always available. That you can be ambitious and present, spiritual and sceptical, deeply serious and very silly, sometimes all before lunch. That nobody has it all figured out, and the people who claim to are usually selling something.
We write from experience and say so when we are speculating. We do not give medical or psychological advice, and we will always point you toward a qualified professional when something deserves one. Partner content is clearly labelled, and partners never approve what we write.
The Mindful Mag is published by Skol Media Group, alongside Mom The Mag, The Coaching Mag and Travel The Mag.
A new essay, a simple practice and nothing you need to rush.
